Here is what most parents never get to see: the invisible teaching that happens in a Montessori classroom.
At Redwoods International Montessori, a typical morning unfolds like this.
A child arrives and immediately has agency. She chooses her work from a carefully prepared environment. While she is selecting materials, the teacher is not lecturing or directing. She is observing.
