1st day back after Thanksgiving break🤎🦃🍂
感謝祭休暇明けにみんなで会えて大喜びでした！
今日は明日のミニクリスマスコンサートの練習をしました。
ハンドベルとダンスを披露します🔔🎶

Everyone was so excited to see each other after the break! We practiced for our mini Christmas concert tomorrow where we will perform with handbells and dance 🔔🎶

Happy Halloween!!

わくわくのハロウィン、とっても楽しかったです^_^
朝の会ではコスチュームコンテストをしました🥳
マリフィセントも来てくれました😂。
その後はみんなでトリックオアトリートに行って、教室でクッキーを作りました！🍪🍫🍬

Halloween at Waku Waku was so much fun!
We had our morning assembly and had a costume contest. We even had Malificent show up. 😂
After that we all went trick or treating together and made cookies in the classroom! 🍭

マリンウッドパークへ行きました!
運動会の練習をしたあと公園で遊んで楽しかったです！
みんな頑張ってくれてありがとう💪🏼✨🤗

Today we went to Marinwood Park!
After practicing for sports day (undokai), we played at the park.
(Undokai is a fun school event in the Japanese school calendar, focusing on teamwork and athletic ability.)

The school year 2025-2026 has started at Waku Waku No Mori✨ 9/15 was Respect for the Aged Day. We celebrated with singing and eating yummy treats! We are looking forward to the new school year!

今日は小学校の体育館を借りて
卒業式のリハーサル✨
衣装を着てダンスも練習しました！

気づけば、卒園式まであと2日！！⏳

明日と明後日は、小学校の体育館をお借りしてリハーサルを行います。広い場所での練習、みんなドキドキ・ワクワクです💛💐

🎓卒園式まであと、、、🌸
「あと5日」のカウントダウンをめくったら、あと4日になってしまいました。
少しずつ、本番が近づいてきます。

今日は、卒園式本番と同じ流れで練習をしました。
まだ緊張している様子もありますが、子どもたちは一生懸命がんばっています。
残りの練習で、もっと自信をつけてほしいなと思っています😊

そして今日はもうひとつ✨
みんなで育てたきゅうりを収穫して、できたてをパクリ🥒！
「おいしい〜！」と嬉しそうな笑顔がたくさん。
やっぱり、自分たちで育てた野菜は特別ですね💚

We flipped the countdown card and felt the excitement growing!

Today we practiced the full ceremony — still need to practice but everyone is trying their best 💪
We can’t wait to see them shine on the big day✨

And… we picked our homegrown cucumbers! 🥒
Fresh, crunchy, and extra special because we grew them ourselves 💚

【おやつの時間にお箸トレーニング！】

今日のおやつタイムでは、子ども用のお箸（割り箸をゴムでとめた簡易お箸）を使って、フルーツを食べる練習をしました！

お友達の影響もあって、「やってみたい！」という気持ちが自然と芽生える子どもたち。お箸を使う楽しさを感じながら、みんなでトライしました。

「先生、見て〜‼️」と、お箸でフルーツを掴めた瞬間に大興奮！笑顔いっぱいの楽しいトレーニングになりました。

これからもしばらくは、お箸で掴みやすいフルーツなどをおやつに取り入れていきます♪

[Chopstick Practice During Snack Time!]

During today’s snack time, we practiced using child-friendly chopsticks (made by tying rubber bands around disposable ones) to eat fruit!

Thanks to the influence of their friends, many of the children naturally felt inspired to give it a try. Everyone had so much fun learning how to use chopsticks together.

Every time they managed to pick up a piece of fruit, we heard excited shouts of “Look, teacher!!” It was a joyful and engaging practice session filled with smiles.

For a while, we’ll continue offering fruits and snacks that are easy to pick up with chopsticks during snack time.

【今日も元気にがんばりました！】
本日、ひらがな・カタカナの全クラスを無事に終えることができました‼️
うまく書けない時もあったけれど、子どもたちは最後まで一生懸命に練習して、しっかり書けるようになりました。

これからは、卒園式の練習や工作など、また新しい活動が始まります。
ひとつひとつの予定が終わっていくたびに、卒園が近づいているんだなぁと実感…
順調に進んでいるのは嬉しいけれど、やっぱり少しさみしい気持ちも込み上げてきます。

明日もよろしくお願いします‼️

We did it today!
Today, we successfully finished all our Hiragana and Katakana classes‼️
Even when it was tricky, the kids kept trying their best — and now they can write all the characters with confidence!

Next up, we’ll start practicing for the graduation ceremony and doing fun crafts.
As each activity comes to an end, we can feel graduation getting closer…
Everything is going smoothly, but a part of us feels a little emotional too.
