Mother Miracle School was founded in 2002 by Shahla Ettefagh, an American citizen from San Francisco with an M.A. in Sociology and Child Psychology. Formerly, she was the passionate owner of a successful interior art business in San Francisco. During a visit to India in 1995, Shahla was so moved by seeing children living in extreme poverty that she vowed
to come back to India to dedicate her life

to helping poor children and families, especially women. In 2002, she sold her house, business and personal belongings to move permanently to Rishikesh, India where she founded the Mother Miracle School. Since 2002, Mother Miracle School grew from 9 students to 600. Each exceptional student is carefully tested and selected from thousands of applicants. We provide the highest quality education and resources in a 51,000sf state-of-the-art school building. Mother Miracle School believes if you provide the children with the best, they will deliver the best. We've provided scholarships for our graduates to pursue college education in India and the United States. They are studying mechanical and electrical engineering, neurosurgery, hotel management, culinary arts, master’s level business, and doctoral level zoology. All donations are tax deductible in USA & India. We are a registered charitable trust and we have 501(c)(3) nonprofit in USA & tax deductible 80G, 12A in India. 100% of all donations are directly invested in our school programs.

Every Tuesday and Saturday morning, something truly extraordinary happens at Mother Miracle School.
Five hundred children, from our precious 4-year-old kindergarten students to our 18-year-old senior secondary students stand together as one family and chant the Hanuman Chalisa with devotion, love, and faith.

The sound of 500 young voices fills our school with peace, strength, courage, and divine energy. It is a moment that touches every heart. These children may come from underprivileged families, but they are growing up rich in values, compassion, discipline, and inner strength.

We believe that true education is not only about academics. It is about nurturing kind hearts, peaceful minds, and strong character. Along with English, science, AI, robotics, and computers, we are helping our children build a strong spiritual foundation that will guide them throughout their lives.
When you hear 500 children chanting together, you don't just hear a prayer you witness hope, love, and the future of humanity.

Dearest Shreya and the Team of Art of Living, 🌸The Intuition Course at Mother Miracle School was truly fantastic. Your team taught with so much heart, kindness, and positive energy. ❤️

I already see a massive shift in our children’s confidence, focus, communication, and inner happiness. We are continuing the daily practices so the children can keep strengthening their intuition, meditation, breathwork, and inner awareness every day.
In today’s world of constant technology exposure, programs like this are deeply needed for children’s emotional balance and inner growth. I highly recommend this course to schools everywhere. 🙏
