🌊🐢 Field Trip Fun at Sea Turtle, Inc.! 🐢🌊
What an unforgettable day our students had at Sea Turtle, Inc. on South Padre Island Last Friday! This field trip was the perfect opportunity for our students to bring their weekly enrichment activities to life by making meaningful, real-world connections.
Throughout the week, our students explored topics related to marine life, sea turtle conservation, habitats, ecosystems, and environmental stewardship. Seeing these concepts firsthand allowed them to deepen their understanding, ask thoughtful questions, and experience the importance of protecting our oceans and wildlife in a way that simply can't be replicated in the classroom.
After our visit, we enjoyed lunch at the beach pavilion, where students shared laughs, stories, and smiles while taking in the beautiful ocean views. To top off an already amazing day, everyone had the chance to kick off their shoes, play in the sand, build sand creations, and simply enjoy being kids! Their excitement, curiosity, and joy were contagious, making it a day filled with learning, adventure, and unforgettable memories.
A huge thank you to our staff, chaperones, and everyone who helped make this incredible experience possible. We are so proud of our students for representing our school so well and embracing every opportunity to learn, explore, and have fun!
