100th Centennial Celebration 💯
Enjoy the service and the 6 phenomenal eras videos, that Pastor Nathan so wonderfully created from all the archives kept all these years.
It was a fabulous weekend.
A note from Susan Fawell Nelson:
What an awesome celebration you planned and executed last weekend!
There are hardly words to express our thanks for all that you poured into that weekend which obviously took hours and hours of labor.
There was much seen and unseen fruit that burst forth that day in the lives of those who had the blessing of attending. There was electricity in the air as we reconnected with old friends and recalled the good times we shared at Trinity. Our gathering was like a reunion and spiritual retreat all rolled into one glorious event. Thanks for helping to make that happen! Your prayers were answered as it was an amazing time!
Personally that weekend became the highlight of our year if not the highlight of the past 20 years. Pausing to recall the goodness and faithfulness of God over the years was so renewing, restoring and healing. The worship seemed to lift the roof as God’s people sang their hearts out to bring praise to God.
At one point on Saturday afternoon I had a picture of a heavenly choir comprised of Trinity saints who had previously passed into Glory, and they joined us in worship as we lifted our voices. I got chills as I saw Pastor Larry and Nordis, Bob and Greta Scott, Jean Hahn, my parents and brothers Dick and Bobby and so many others thrilled to join us in song! And I do believe we had angels joining us in worship that day as the sound of music was just glorious! Not sure I have experienced anything quite like that in my 75 years.
The video of the different eras was so well done and quite professional, food was excellent, loved the merchandise, schedule and parking was well thought out, the decor, branding and Bible verse chosen were so good! All the details were covered so well. And thanks to the Scotts who opened their home Friday evening for the rich time of food and fellowship with former and present church staff. What a great idea!
So this was definitely a weekend to remember! The hospitality of the Trinity family was over the top once again. We all felt like we were being welcomed home, both by you and by our Lord. It was a perfect day, touched by the love and care of God’s people and by God Himself.
The Holy Spirit was definitely on the move as we gathered and may He continue His work throughout the generations to come. “ O God, our help in ages past, our hope for years to come…” Amen and amen.
Many thanks once again for you labor of love!
