In this class, students will be introduced to basic concepts of comedy improv such as “yes and” (accepting what is offered by classmates), “group mind” (listening to each other and working as a team) and “space object work” (miming). Using theater games and improv “structures”, students will be encouraged to think on their feet, trust their instinct and actively support each other. (It is said that a good improviser makes their teammates look good rather than themselves). They will also laugh a lot!

FAMILY IMPROV CLASSES ON ZOOM:

Perfectly Whelmed is now offering family classes on Zoom.
In a family class, all of the participants are in the same location - yay! Just the teacher is zoomed in. These classes are a great way to engage all members of a family (ages 5 & up) using silliness and laughter. It levels the playing field. No "parents" and "kids". Just a bunch of people being silly, creative and collaborative.
