📣 IMPORTANT AFTERSCHOOL PROGRAM & TRANSPORTATION UPDATE 🚌

Dear North Valley Families,
We are excited to announce that bus transportation for our afterschool programs will begin Monday, August 24, 2026! 🚌💚

Please review the following important transportation and pick-up information:

🚌 Bus transportation will be available Monday through Thursday.
🚫 VERY IMPORTANT: There will be NO bus transportation on Fridays.
🚗 Parent Pick-Up: If your child is a pick-up student, please pick them up at 4:40 PM through the Kinder Pick-Up Line.
📞 CRITICAL: Any changes to your child's afterschool transportation or pick-up arrangements MUST be communicated directly to the front office BEFORE 4:00 PM. Please call the front office to notify us of the change. Changes received after 4:00 PM may not be accommodated.
📅 Full-Day Wednesdays: Afterschool programs and bus transportation WILL be available on Wednesdays when students have a full day of school.
Students who participate in our afterschool programs and are eligible for bus transportation may ride the bus home after the program.

These procedures are important to help us ensure that every student gets home safely and through the correct method of transportation. We greatly appreciate your cooperation and support! 💚🦅💛

Por favor, revise la siguiente información importante sobre el transporte y la recogida de estudiantes:

🚌 Habrá transporte en autobús de lunes a jueves.
🚫 MUY IMPORTANTE: NO habrá transporte en autobús los viernes.
🚗 Estudiantes que serán recogidos: Si usted recogerá a su hijo/a, deberá hacerlo a las 4:40 PM por la línea de recoger de Kinder.
📞 CRÍTICO: Cualquier cambio en el transporte o la manera en que su hijo/a será recogido después del programa DEBE comunicarse directamente con la oficina ANTES DE LAS 4:00 PM. Por favor, llame a la oficina para informar sobre cualquier cambio. Es posible que los cambios recibidos después de las 4:00 PM no puedan ser realizados.
📅 Miércoles de día completo: Los programas después de clases Y el transporte en autobús SÍ estarán disponibles los miércoles cuando los estudiantes tengan un día completo de clases.
Los estudiantes que participan en nuestros programas después de clases y que califican para transporte escolar podrán tomar el autobús a casa al finalizar el programa.

📚💛 Empowering Our North Valley Families! 💚🦅

Today, parents and guardians are participating in a wonderful workshop at the North Valley Community Center focused on Las Cuatro Caras de la Autoestima | The Four Faces of Self-Esteem.

We are grateful to see our families taking time to learn, reflect, and strengthen the skills that help build confidence, connection, and healthy self-esteem within our homes and community. 🌱✨

At North Valley, we know that when we support and empower our families, we also strengthen the foundation our students stand on.

💚💛 So Proud of Our North Valley Family! 💛💚

I am incredibly proud of the amazing people who make North Valley Elementary such a special place. 🦅

A huge shout-out to Ms. Navarrete, who takes it upon herself to decorate our staff lounge with different themes throughout the year. She does this completely from the kindness of her heart, simply because she wants to create a welcoming and joyful space for her colleagues. 🌻💚 Those thoughtful touches mean so much!

I also want to recognize our wonderful custodian, Maria, who took the time to decorate our staff bathrooms and make them feel warm, beautiful, and cared for. 🌸✨ They look amazing!

These may seem like small things, but they speak volumes about the heart of our school. When people go above and beyond simply because they care about others, it creates the kind of culture that makes a school feel like a family.

Ms. Navarrete and Maria, thank you for pouring a little extra love into North Valley! 💚💛
