PPFA International Framing Competition is DIGITAL!
New this year: instead of Chapter level competitions, the first stage of the PPFA International PRINT and OPEN Framing Competition will involve submitting digital images, making it easy for PPFA members around the world to enter!
For complete information, visit www.ppfa.com, where you can purchase the “Sun Dappled II” PRINT on metal, and register to enter the PRINT and/or OPEN Competition.
The deadline to enter is August 1, 2017, and judging will be completed by December 1, 2017.
The top 50 qualifiers in the OPEN and PRINT categories will receive information on how to enter the Finals and ship their framed piece(s) to the PPFA Convention in Las Vegas in January 2018. The registration deadline for finalists is December 31.
We look forward to many creative and wonderful entries!

Huge congratulations to the talented picture framers who created amazing and beautiful framing projects for our NorCal framing competition Sunday, 10/23, at the Larson Juhl facility in Benicia,CA. We can't show pictures of the framed pieces yet, but there were some incredible entries and all scored very well! First place Open went to Tim Franer of Franer & Co., 2nd place Open to Micah Paul of The Studio Shop and 1st place Print went to Flora Demars-Owens of The Studio Shop. Thank you to the judges for applying their expertise to the difficult task of scoring these fabulous pieces!
