Philosophy and Mission Statement
Kidink has created a safe, nurturing, and play-prompted educational program for young children that fosters life long learning and emotional well-being. We promote each child’s cognitive, physical, social, and emotional development. We recognize and respect that each child brings to school a unique rate of development, a desire to learn and diverse language and cul

tural experiences. Most preschool programs tend to fill classrooms to capacity up to 24 or more students, whereas we will never have more than 14 children per day in our entire program. This enables our teachers to work side by side with each child. Kidink focuses on the key concepts kindergarten teachers expect and appreciate through well-researched and proven Early Childhood development practices that recognizes play as the natural way through which young children learn. Teresa Campbell has been working directly with children and families for over 25 years as a director/teacher and opened Kidink in 2000. Teresa received her B.A. in Child & Adolescent Development and her M.A. She also holds a California teacher permit as a Child Development Program Director. Teresa is a mentor to aspiring preschool educators, she is a Professional Growth Advisor for the state of California, a public speaker on family and child related subjects and an Adjunct Professor with the SMCCCD. Program Director • Teresa Campbell, M.Ed. Kidink’s staff members are educated, professional, patient, caring, and humorous. All of our teachers are CPR and First Aid certified. It is important for young children to have consistency in their lives. For this reason we believe that our teachers are our most important assets. Our staff is taken care of financially and respectfully to ensure their longevity with our school. Kidink upholds the absolute highest quality Early Childhood program available. We offer: Science, Art, Math, Manipulatives, Dramatic Play, Language/Library, Fieldtrips and educational presentations, Cooking, Music and Movement, Outside activities, rest, and nutritious meals.

Kidink Preschool’s last day in business is today. I set up this amazing program 25 years ago. It has been an amazing journey and I have met the most wonderful people. You know who you are. What fun we had with all of the littles and their grown ups. Our Candyland Fashion Show, The Movie Awards, and Food Network were some of my all time favorites. Be well and don’t forget to PLAY!
