Vishwa Shanthi's first dance show of 2023, Shivoham Shivoham, is a thematic bharatanatyam presentation on Lord Shiva - a fitting celebration on Maha Shivarathri! This new production choreographed by our beloved Guru Smt Shreelata Suresh will be performed by our VSDA teachers, senior dancers and post-arangetram students. They will be accompanied by a live music orchestra featuring top Bay Area musicians. The performers have been putting in many many hours of practice over the last several months to show you a great time!

Here is the tip as promised…. To maintain a good Araimandi posture, it’s not only about opening the knees widely but it’s also about opening the hips. Nisha shares two hip opener exercises that she incorporates in her stretching regime. Hope all of us can use the tip and enhance our performance! 😊👍🏽
