If your child has any of these, I am here to help! I bring support and stability by seeing students regularly to help them go through any productive activity. This is often homework or studying, but it can also be review, reading, or even cleaning their room! You will not find this service anywhere else, and all of this for an affordable price with a free first session.

What a session looks like:

I meet with students online and start the session by looking at their grades, homework, and help them choose what to work on. Screen sharing and webcams are on. Then during the next hour I monitor them to make sure they stay on track. I come in every couple of minutes to help, motivate, and bond with them. If they do not have homework we will do review through IXL or do things assigned by parents such as working on SAT prep, reading a book, or even cleaning their room. I have tried this with my three little brothers and have been very successful. There is a lot more to this so check out my website.

All of this started with my three younger brothers. They often procrastinated on their homework sometimes forgetting to do it, and took a long time on it as they got distracted. My parents didn't have the time to supervise them or track their grades. So I would gather them up every day and make sure they work, check their grades, motivate them, and bond with them. They ended up liking these sessions. This positive feedback made me want to offer this to more students.

Hello everyone!

My name is Alex, and I’m a student at College of San Mateo. I have started an original tutoring and mentoring business, called OnTrack, to fund my college expenses.

Procrastination and attention problems are on the rise. However, that does not mean that the children affected by that need help with the material they are learning. What they need is structure and support. We give that by meeting with them regularly. We are a mix between tutoring and mentoring. We tutor our students by helping them get unstuck, guiding them to resources, and explaining simple concepts. We mentor our students by motivating them, celebrating their accomplishments, tracking their grades, and keeping them on track.
