For our first meeting of May, we would like to invite you all to join our chapter’s Phi Theta Kappa Induction ceremony. 🤗

PTK Induction ceremony is held to recognize academic achievement and our new members. Students are highly encouraged to attend the meeting and use this opportunity to meet the chapter advisors, officers and other new members. 🙌

PTKers, we are so excited to announce PTK’s guest speaker - William Alexander!! 🥳🥳

William is currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree at UC Berkeley, along with SCET Entrepreneurship Certificate. Out of class, he is leading 2 teams of startups in the Plant-Based Food Ecosystem, and another in Social Technology. He transferred from College of San Mateo during the Covid-19 pandemic. 👨‍🎓🙆‍♂️

You’ll be hearing about his successful transfer journey and have the opportunity to ask him any questions you may have. Hope to see you all. 🙌🤗

Name: Nicole Hong
Position: I.C.C. Representative
Major: Psychology

👑I am a Psychology major fascinated with researching more about the relationship between physical and mental health. In addition to leading as the ICC Rep for PTK, at CSM, I am a member of several student organizations: ASCSM’s Programming Board, AGS Honors Society, Transfer Club, and Skyline College’s Psi Beta Honors Society.

Outside of school, I enjoy anything related to health and wellness, and practice this through cooking and baking healthy recipes (the baking’s not as healthy), laughing with friends, and especially, discovering new worlds through books.👑

✨Hi everyone! I am Nomin, majoring in Mathematics at CSM. When I have free time outside of school, I enjoy reading fictional books and political articles from New York Times, hiking with friends, and discovering new places I haven’t been yet.

🦄Hello everyone, I’m Yoon! I'm a sophomore at the College of San Mateo majoring in Business Administration and Economics. I'm hoping to transfer to a four years university after finishing my degree here.

Outside of my studies, I'm a very active member of the CSM community. I'm involved with several clubs and organizations on campus while serving as a Vice President of Finance of Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society and a treasurer of the ESL Club. Besides, I'm currently a board member of the ASCSM Programming Board. As a part-time job, I'm working as a Math Embedded Tutor at CSM to assist students' needs. In my spare time, I like listening to music and watching Kdrama and Korean reality shows. My favorite show of all time is Running Man!!🦄
