The lion dance is a captivating Chinese tradition that symbolizes strength, courage, and prosperity. Featuring costumed performers who mimic a lion, this exhilarating dance is often accompanied by rhythmic music. It’s believed to bring good luck and is performed during celebrations and festivals.

Our school is learning about Geography and people in other states. To help our littles conceptualize this we’ve made a goal to collect Valentine’s for all 50 states. We’ll be adding stars to each state on our school map as we receive a Valentine. Please consider helping us achieve our goal by sending us a Valentine. Parents, the Hollister PowWow is coming up. This is a wonderful opportunity for your children to see, hear, and experience the traditions, songs, dances, and regalia we’ve been learning about in class.
Experiencing culture in person helps students make deeper connections and gain a real appreciation for the beauty and meaning behind what we study. 💫

Pirate Adventures Field Trip to Morgan’s Cove. What an awesome field trip. I highly recommend it. They will be starting 4th grade field trips this school year for MHUSD. Talk to your teacher and get it booked. 🏴‍☠️☠️🏴‍☠️
