I’ve been a stay-at-home mom, a working mom, a single mom, and a mom of twins. I’ve experienced different seasons, different challenges, and different versions of myself as a mother.

But through every stage and every phase, one thing has made the hard parts feel a little lighter: community.

That is why I created The Family Room.

Because parenting was never meant to be done alone.

Summer is winding down, families are getting back in town, and fall routines are starting to take shape.

There’s something special about having a weekly activity you and your little one can count on to play, connect, learn and build community.

So grateful for the incredible community of local providers we get to work alongside.

This photo is a great reminder of just how many passionate, knowledgeable people are out there supporting families in so many different ways.

We may each bring something different to the table, but we share the same goal: helping families feel supported, connected and cared for.

The more we collaborate, share resources and learn from one another, the stronger our community becomes, and the more we can offer the families we serve.
