Members of our Phi Theta Kappa Chapter had the opportunity to attend Leadership Summit second year in a row! We also met up with Associated Student Government, thus this awesome photo 😎

It’s almost February, and that means we back in for Spring 2020! Here are the details for our information and first meeting of the semester! This will be the same until the end 💙💛

SOLE effects are a group made of mentors and advisors who engage with high schools in San Diego districts as an opportunity to increase confidence and leadership amongst the youth. Thank you to for presenting and introducing to your organization at our last meeting of Fall 2019. A great way to end the year and begin 2020 and the Spring semester!

Southern California Conference for Undergraduate Research 2019 was a success! Palomar Phi Theta Kappa had the opportunity to observe research presentations ranging in diverse topics and backgrounds. Hundreds of presenters from areas such as, San Francisco and Yale University, to local SoCal universities and community colleges attend this conference presenting their findings. would like to thank for hosting this year! @ California State University San Marcos

Alpha Omega Rho had the amazing opportunity to go to Orlando, Florida for Phi Theta Kappa’s annual convention. By going, we were given insightful information regarding our Honors in Action Project, our College Project, and how to continuously improve how we work. This event allowed us the opportunity to bond as a chapter and connect with other chapters, as well as motivate us to keep moving forward.

Within the past few weeks and in the weekly Monday meetings, Alpha Omega Rho:

• Finished the last of their community shoe drive. Thank you for the opportunity!
• Established the basis for new service opportunities
• Began to reconstruct the Honors in Action project that was launched in Fall 2018

And...

• Discussed the general itinerary for Catalyst 2019 Annual Convention

Alpha Omega Rho had a great opportunity to meet with Palomar College police Chief Moore for a discussion about safety and connectedness on campus for their college project!

We presented our Honors in Action research project this weekend at the Southern California Conferences for Undergraduate Research (SCCUR) in Pasadena. Great job Palomar PTK!
