9.22.26 CARDINAL ALLIANCE AT THE SAN MARCOS CITY COUNCIL MTG 😎

On behalf of the Cardinal Alliance Marching Band and Color Guard students, parent organization and families, 2 students and few band moms represented and spoke at the San Marcos City Council Mtg Tuesday night and shared the insights of why the December parade should not be canceled and possibly have the City of San Marcos continue the tradition since Kiwanis club could no longer host it starting this year.

Copies of the student responses were given to the City Officials last night. These responses were not edited so please do not judge on the misspellings, incorrect grammar, etc.

Thank you to the students who shared their insights and feelings about the December parade. (Thank you to Mrs. Ernst for initiating the idea of getting their responses).

🤞Hopefully an impact was made and let's see the outcome for this year and in future years. For now, Cardinal Alliance will keep the December parade on the calendar.

📢 Attention! On 9.26.26, the season begins with our North County Preview Show @ MHHS.

It just keeps on growing and there will be approximately 1,010 marching band and color guard students that day. 😱

FREE admission. The home stands will be packed. Get ready to see their performances.

We will have air grams available for purchase that day as well.

9.9.26 LET'S GET IT STARTED!

Mr. Hall and Mr. Doval met with the percussion parents plus future visual ensemble and cymbal line parents for the 2027 Spring Indoor Percussion season. This meeting is usually held in December.

Average number of students that's involved during our Indoor season is around 30-33. The vision for next Spring is to go big.

9.5.26 PROPS & EQUIPMENT CREW!

This was the other project that happened simultaneously with the uniform/booster room renovation.

9.5.26 UNIFORM/BOOSTER ROOM RENOVATION (Rest of pics didn't transfer from Insta)

Along with the new uniform carts that were made recently, it was time to redo the uniform/booster room in the music building.

The first couple of pictures were from 2024 so you could see what it looked like before.

The rest...voila!

Huge shoutout again to our equipment crew. This was one of the projects that was happening simultaneously with another project that's across campus. (Will share in a different post).

Thank you to all of the staff & volunteers especially our uniform managers for helping with this project.

9.1.26 BRAND NEW UNIFORM RACKS‼️

It was time for MHHS Cardinal Alliance to have new uniform racks. 😍 With the growth of the marching band and color guard, our old racks couldn't handle the weight and amount of the garment bags filled with their uniforms and accessories anymore.

Huge shoutout to our equipment crew. They made this happen ON TOP OF working with our current props plus these volunteers have full time jobs. Also, did you see Mr. Ryan Carpenter? IYKYK 😁

2 out of the 5 were shown. Some finishing touches will occur.

8.29.26 Successful Mattress Sale Fundraiser‼️😍

Thank you everyone for supporting our annual mattress fundraiser. This year, we sold 28 mattresses.

Thank you to our student volunteers for braving the heat and drumming up business including playing live music. 🎶
