Latinas Unidas meets every Thursday at 6pm in room 4-1.6 in the LBJ Student Center of Texas State Un Latinas Unidas started in Fall of 2004.
At the time it was not a registered organization. There was not a meeting room; instead the ladies would meet in the Multicultural Affairs Lounge on Wednesday afternoons. There were six ladies that started the organization: Annaliza Rangel, Naomi Leos, Cecilia Gamboa, Tiffany Borrego, Minerva Carrasco, and Raquel Soto. I have had a hard time figuring out how to frame my next sentences. But I will keep it short and simple. Black lives do matter. They are human beings. They are moms, dads, sisters, and uncles. Changes needs to be made now.
Don't forget those zoom sessions today because this is the first day of an online semester! We know it's going to be a total change from the whole schedule so don't stress to much! Again the e-board is here for y'all if you need it! We miss y'all!
