"Stories From Home" is a dance series honoring the oral traditions of Nuevomexicano, Chicano and Mexican American communities — weaving together personal histories, ancestral knowledge and the stories that have shaped the American Southwest.

Join us for an inspiring panel discussion with San Diego Coastkeeper's Executive Director Phillip Musegaas and Jack Gilbert of the Scripps Institution of Oceanography with CSUSM’s faculty experts Dr. Shannon Swanson and Dr. Elinne Becket. They will discuss how we can bring together community leaders, scientists and advocates to explore how we can protect and restore our local water bodies — from the valley to the coast!
