The official page of The Center for Professional Sales at Texas State University.
The Center for Professional Sales was designed to enhance the sales concentration offered through the Department of Marketing in the McCoy College of Business at Texas State. Students who participate in the sales concentration take challenging courses that focus on both theory and action learning which enhances their understanding of the sales process. Our concentration in professional sales prepares students for careers in selling, facilitates internships and helps provide career placement.

Say Hello to our 2018 National Collegiate Sales Competition Team

Our undergraduate competitors, Evan Jackson and Tori Green, made it to the quarter-finals. Additionally, our graduate competitors, Madison Ivers and Katy O'Brien won 1st place Overall Graduate Team! National Champions! Hooray!

Our results are as follows:
1st Round Graduate Division (Needs Identification): 1st Place - Madison Ivers
2nd Round Graduate Division (Team Sell): 1st Place - Madison Ivers and Katy O' Brien
3rd Round Graduate Division (Maintenance Call): 2nd Place - Katy O'Brien
Overall Graduate Division National Champion: Texas State University, Madison Ivers and Katy O'Brien

A big win for Texas State University at the Liberty Mutual Southwest Sales Competition! Congratulations to Kiley Barry for bringing home first place!
Sales Students: If you are graduating, make sure to pick up your sales cords and certificates in the Marketing Department (Room #424) before graduation!

Our sales team is currently competing at the National Collegiate Sales Competition in Atlanta, Georgia! Wishing them luck as they represent Texas State University!

Interview Express was success! We had stations for resume writing and interviewing skills, and had private rooms where companies conducted on the spot interviews. We hope it was very beneficial for everyone who attended.
