As an original resident of San Elijo Hills, my children have all attended SEMS, so I know firsthand the valuable contributions the teachers, staff, and administration make in their students’ lives. I’m grateful to give back to the school district I value so much and have been fortunate to be involved with extensively over the years. Annual Residency Verification Now Open for Current SMUSD Families
Beginning this month, all current SMUSD families must complete the annual residency verification process to ensure continuing students are properly registered for the 2026-27 school year.

This process is completed digitally through ParentVUE and is required only once per household. Families with multiple children will submit one residency verification for all students living in the same home.

For students transitioning to middle school or high school next year, completing residency verification will automatically register your child at their designated school based on your home address.
