We'll have music from Ellington, Monk, Basie, Oliver Nelson, Sonny Rollins, Vince Mendoza, and Rick Margitza, a couple of great student compositions and arrangements, and the legendary Buddy Rich Band version of the West Side Story Suite! On Saturday the Jazz Ensemble will be performing as the featured guest at the Fredericksburg Jazz Festival! The concert is at 8:00 in the Fredericksburg HS Fine Arts Center, following a full day of MS and HS jazz bands from around the state!
