Congratulations to Madison Risner, who won the Silverman Award for best student paper from the American Association of Suicidology for her work with Dr. Rogers, "Empirical and theoretical overlap and distinctiveness of perceived burdensomeness and suicidal ideation". Congratulations to MAPR student Kendria Shields-Rhodes who has been selected to participate in the Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities' National Internship Program for 10 weeks during summer 2023 where she will be a Program Assistant for a new department at the Library of Congress.
In addition, Kendria was one of 15 students selected out of over 200 applicants to participate in the 2023 Northwestern University Sneak Peek Program for historically underrepresented students to learn more about pursuing a PhD in psychology.
