Our explorers immersed themselves in baking today—not by following directions, but by researching, experimenting, observing, and learning alongside one another.
As ideas were shared, the dough changed, and so did their thinking. Friends noticed what the mixture needed, solved problems together, encouraged one another, and celebrated every discovery along the way.
This is what a learning community looks like. Every voice matters. Every idea has value. Every explorer belongs.
At Little Lambs, we believe the richest learning happens when children are trusted to wonder, collaborate, and discover together.

Our explorers are immersing themselves in the world of baking.

Within our learning community, children are experimenting, investigating, making predictions, and discovering how simple ingredients transform into fresh bread.

Every scoop, stir, knead, and rise is an opportunity to build confidence, collaborate with friends, solve problems, and experience the joy of creating something with their own hands.

At Little Lambs, we believe learning is richest when children are given the time, space, and freedom to wonder, explore, and discover together.

Fall enrollment is underway, with limited openings remaining. We'd love to welcome your family into our learning community.

When adults see construction materials... children see a birthday cake.

A few traffic cones, wooden planks, tree stumps, and loose parts became the ingredients for a beautiful birthday celebration.

This is the magic of open-ended play. There are no instructions, no right or wrong answers—just imagination, collaboration, problem-solving, and storytelling.

At Little Lambs, our construction area isn't just for building structures. It's a place where ideas come to life, friendships grow, and ordinary materials become extraordinary adventures.

Childhood is full of possibilities when we give children the freedom to create.

Just a few chalkboards... and the children couldn't resist.

Sometimes the smallest changes create the biggest invitations.

By adding a few chalkboards to our mark-making area, children naturally gathered to draw, experiment, erase, write, and begin again. Every line, swirl, circle, and letter is meaningful. These early marks are the foundation of writing, communication, and literacy.

There were no worksheets. No prompts. Just an invitation to create.

This is how literacy begins—through play, curiosity, and the freedom to leave your mark.

Fall enrollment is underway, with limited openings remaining. Come see how simple, intentional environments inspire meaningful learning every day.

Big learning often begins with the simplest materials.
A few craft sticks. A handful of wooden peg people. Endless possibilities.

As he lined up the sticks and watched them flip, he wasn't just playing—he was experimenting. He made predictions, observed what happened, adjusted his design, and tried again. This is how children build critical thinking, problem-solving, and an understanding of cause and effect.

At Little Lambs, we believe children don't need flashy toys to learn. They need time, freedom, and open-ended materials that spark their curiosity.

Play with purpose. Wonder with intention.

Sometimes all it takes is a small change to inspire big learning.

This week, we transformed our water station by adding different levels for the children to explore. What happened next was exactly what we hoped for—curiosity took over.

Children tested ideas, solved problems, worked together, and discovered how water moved through tubes, funnels, and containers. There wasn't one "right" way to play. Every child brought their own ideas, and every experiment led to a new discovery.

When we thoughtfully change the environment, we create endless opportunities for curiosity, creativity, and learning through play.

The most meaningful lessons are often the ones we never plan.

As one of our after-school children crossed the balance plank, he noticed one of our toddlers wanted to do the same. Without hesitation, he reached out his hand and walked beside him.

These are the moments that remind us what a mixed-age environment can offer. Older children naturally become leaders and role models, while younger children gain confidence knowing someone is there to encourage them.

At Little Lambs, we believe kindness, empathy, and confidence grow through everyday experiences—not because they're taught in a lesson, but because they're lived.

There's so much more happening than meets the eye.

As the parachute rises and falls, our toddlers are building coordination, balance, listening skills, and learning to work together.

They laugh, anticipate what comes next, and experience the joy of moving as a group.

Simple activities like this help children develop confidence, friendships, and a love of learning through play.

Now enrolling for Fall 2026! Schedule a tour and come experience the joy of play-based learning.
