Because our courses are 100% online, you will experience a flexibility that the traditional, structured classroom environment cannot offer. Caring Teachers
Students have access to both online and site- based California certified teachers. (Sunday 8PM to Friday 6PM) Site based teachers provide oversight of the student's entire educational program from choosing the correct courses, to tracking the students progress in their courses and ensuring students are getting the support they need on a daily basis. Students are surrounded by California-certified teachers who are truly invested in their success at school and in their future endeavors. High Quality Courses
PCS schools offer a comprehensive curriculum including courses in all Core-Content areas (i.e. English, Math, Science, Social Studies, Computer Literacy), Foreign Languages, Fine Arts, multiple Electives, as well as College-Prep and Advanced Placement courses. Students may work entirely from home or anywhere there is internet connection and a computer. Students may also choose to attend site based classes and tutoring with the Pivot teachers in a Pivot Charter School, San Diego resource center. The online curriculum provider has a proven track record in partnering with schools across the nation to deliver customizable online learning solutions that include web-based curriculum, Highly-Qualified/Certified teachers, a 24/7 support environment, and a proprietary technology platform specifically designed for secondary education for students in grades k-12. Concurrent enrollment allows Pivot Charter School students to take college courses while still enrolled in high school! Students can earn both high school and college credits at the same time, gain valuable experience in college-level coursework, and explore their academic interests early.

Taking ownership of their storytelling, these students launched and now produce a publication that highlights the news, voices, and vibrant life of their school community.
