As we get ready to welcome back our Knights, we want to give a huge THANK YOU to our amazing custodial and grounds staff for all their hard work this summer!

From deep cleaning classrooms and common areas, to planting new landscaping and flowers, to refreshing and polishing our campus spaces, they have worked behind the scenes to make our school look its very best.

Their dedication helps create a clean, welcoming, and beautiful place for our students and staff to learn, connect, and thrive.

A WEEK OF LEGACY –THE LEGACY IS ALL OF US ✨

As we conclude our Week of Legacy, we reflect on what makes the Legacy Wall truly special.

While the wall recognizes the generosity of our donors, it also represents something much larger: a community united in support of San Marcos High School and its students.

Through the generosity of our donors, Legacy Wall plaques were gifted to families from each grade level, as well as a classified employee and a certified employee. These plaques symbolize the students, families, faculty, and staff who contribute every day to the success of our school.

The Legacy Wall is a celebration of those who have invested in our school, our students’ future, and serves as a reminder that every member of the Knight community helps shape our story.

To all of our donors, sponsors, volunteers, families, faculty, staff, alumni, and students—thank you.

Together, we have created more than a wall.

A WEEK OF LEGACY ✨ | WHERE LEGACY LIVES

The Legacy Wall is more than a tribute to generosity—it is a source of support for our students and school community.

Because of our supporters’ generosity and contributions to the Legacy Fund, the San Marcos High School PTO was able to:

🏫 Fund a new “SM” sign in the Student Union at San Marcos High School.

💙 Contribute toward Dr. Holt’s memorial plaque on the Legacy Wall to honor a beloved member of the San Marcos High School family whose impact continues to be felt throughout our community.

🥫 Provide $1,000 in supplies for our school food bank to help support students and families in need.

🏀 Provide 100 free CIF playoff basketball tickets, along with free totes or tumblers, to the first 100 student supporters during the team’s championship run.

🎓 Purchase 500 beach balls to continue the beloved graduation beach ball tradition for the Class of 2026.

✨ Looking ahead, funds raised through the Legacy Wall will continue to support senior scholarships, student social services, and student-focused investments throughout our school.

Every plaque on the Legacy Wall represents more than a name—it represents opportunities, experiences, traditions, and support for students today and tomorrow.
