Riverfitness

Well I ended up with a hurt shoulder and didn't make the finish. I did however make some new friends. Christi Bonura and husband Matt were my team captains. I have to give top recommendations for them. We never practiced once. Christi changed everything out in a split second, the boat never stopped. Matt had all the interesting numbers, Split times, class placement, overall placement, and planned pace profile.
these guys could definitely captain a competitive 6 person boat.

I raced my 1st Texas Water Safari in 1982. I've had a lot of captains over the years. These guys are top of the line.

Quite a performance by Fernando Pimenta at The Flatwater World Championships. He beat Kopaz in the 1000 and then beat Mads Pederson in the 5000. Well done.
