We had a fun day demonstrating some of our advanced UAS operations Technician Education Program equipment during Drone Safety Day at Palomar College April 26th, 2024. Spread the word if you know any interested individuals who'd like to get trained up for this evolving industry. Next beginning operations course will be in Fall 2024 GCIP 168.

Some big news all drone pilots need to be aware of and in compliance with by September 16th, 2023: "All drone pilots must meet the operating requirements of part 89. For most operators this will mean flying a Standard Remote ID Drone, equipping with a broadcast module, or flying at an [FAA-recognized identification area] (FRIA)."
