Welcome to the STEM Student Success Center!
Our mission? To increase student academic success in challenging courses in a collaborative and active peer learning environment.
The STEM Student Success Center is a component of the Centers for Learning and Academic Success Services (CLASS) under the Office for Undergraduate Studies. We strive to increase the number of students receiving degrees in the STEM fields (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics).
The center supports all students by providing an open and welcoming environment with resources such as study space, peer educators, networking, and professional development workshops. Our goal is to guide students in developing the skillset and self-confidence needed to succeed in the STEM disciplines through the implementation of the Supplemental Instruction (SI) model and peer led tutoring in our center.
