Huge congratulations to ✨Emma Nakamaru✨ for making the San Diego-Imperial Zones All Star Team! You worked incredibly hard this year, and we can't wait to cheer you on in Idaho! 🎉

Another Age Group Championships in the books! Our ICAC swimmers came to fight and we couldn’t be more proud. Our team placed 11th overall out of 23 teams. Veannaka Che placed 1st in the 200 IM, 400 IM, 100 Breast, and 200 Breast and earned 1st as the high point earner for 15&O girls. Emma Nakamaru placed 1st in the 400 IM and 800 Free and 3rd in the high points for 13-14 girls. The following swimmers also placed top 8 and earned Medals: Zachary Bixler, Chloe Carroll, Natalie Carroll, Joseph Martinez, and Alexander Talmadge. Our relay teams also made a splash for the 11-12 Girls: Chloe Carroll, Maylis Gnagne, Erin Soutar, and Lucy Woodland; and the 13-14 Girls: Lillian Baeza, Natalie Carroll, Mikaela Gnagne, and Emma Nakamaru. Way to go, athletes! Congratulations on all of your hard work!

Congratulations to our Splash and Dash team for a job well done! This group competed on June 19-21 with several making finals and earning medals. Way to go, ICAC!

Congratulations to our two graduating seniors, Stefano and Kiana, who were awarded the Barracuda Booster Club Scholarship! We are so proud of you both and can’t wait to see all you do in this next chapter!

Congratulations to our amazing high schoolers who swam their hearts out at CIF this week!

Kiana (Valley Center High School) placed 1st 🥇 in the 500yd Free and 2nd 🥈 in the 200yd Free at the Division II finals.

Tayla (Classical Academy) placed 4th in the 50yd Free and 6th in the 500yd Free at the Division II finals.

Veannaka (San Marcos High School) placed 9th for both the 100yd Breast and 200yd IM in the Division I finals.

Joseph (Valley Center) placed 14th in the 100yd Fly and 13th in the 500yd Free in the Division II finals.

Zee (Mission Hills High School) placed 15th in the 500yd Free at the Division I final.

Congratulations, Emma and Chloe, on all of your races at SWAGR 2026! Emma placed 🥇 in the 1000 Free, 🥈 in the 500 Free, and 🥉 in the 400 IM and 200 Fly, and 5th in the 200 IM. Chloe placed 🥈 in the 200 Back, 4th in the 50 and 100 Back, and 5th in the 500 Free. You both fought hard and earned your medals. Well done, ladies!
