The 50th Chapter of alpha Kappa Delta Phi is the first and only Asian interest sorority established at Cailfornia State University San Marcos.
The alpha Kappa Delta Phi chapter at California State University, San Marcos was established on May 2nd, 2015 by Hanna Abeleda, Lyka Agtarap, Jacy Ann Fong, Katherine Fredeluces, Rachelle Gutierrez, Rachel Hernandez, Krisandra Laxa, Trisha Llanes, Anne Nguyen, Kaili Now, Heaven Quiban and Kim Tran. I’m currently preparing for the NCLEX, the nursing board licensure exam! Once I pass, I aim to secure a position at a hospital near me. Nursing is a foundational step, my ultimate goal is to launch and direct a business within the near future.
Favorite aKDPhi Memory:
One of my favorite memories from aKDPhi is meeting my best friends. That first semester was really unforgettable and surreal. I experienced so many new things and embraced the college life. But honestly, the best memories are happening right now. I’m so grateful that my closest friends and I are growing together and navigating early adulthood side by side. Im entirely grateful to have people who strive for their careers and still make time to enjoy life.
