Who is ready to get Jazzy?!

Join us on the SEMS campus from 11am-2pm today for the Jazz & Art Festival. This is a free admission community event celebrating the end of a wonderful school year of music and art, so please feel free to invite family, friends and neighbors!

We have a new setup this year, so you can enjoy the shade under the lunch tables as you listen to Beginning, House, and Gig Jazz bands perform. Plan to have lunch and a treat at our food booths hosted by Full Metal Burgers and Bubble Tea, who are both contributing a portion of their proceeds back to the Music Program. The Boosters will also be on hand selling cold water and answering any questions you may have about getting involved in this amazing Music Program.

Schedule:
• Musicians report at 11am
• Beginning Jazz will play from 11:30-12pm
• House Jazz will play from 12-12:30pm
• Gig Jazz will play from 12:30-1pm

Stick around for the rest of the event and view the work of our talented artists and displays prepared by the SEMS Art Department.

It will be an amazing day celebrating our students and our fine art departments!

There is a church service held in the PAC on Sunday mornings and parking will be limited. Please plan accordingly.

There will be NO Slushy Friday today, but we wish everyone a wonderful Memorial Day weekend!

If you're looking for a pre-concert meal tonight, look no further than Full Metal Burgers in Escondido. They are close by the California Center For The Arts Escondido, and are proud supporters of the SEMS Music Program!

We are looking forward to seeing everyone tomorrow night (Wednesday, 5/17) at the Spring Concert! It will be a wonderful night of music and a chance to hear just how far our wonderfully talented musicians have come over the course of the year.

- Gig Jazz performs with SMHS tonight at 6:30. The entire concert begins at 6:00 p.m., and students are encouraged to stay for the whole performance. Wishing Gig Jazz musicians the best of success!

Calling all Boosters, volunteers and those who want to learn more about opportunities to help the Music Program next year! Join us for a special meeting this Wednesday, May 3rd - 6:30 p.m. @ Pizza Bar (342 S Twin Oaks Valley Rd).

There are many capacities in which you can serve next year, including few needed board positions. We hope to see you there!
