Our Unified Basketball Game was a powerful celebration of inclusion, teamwork, and school spirit. In this special event, our Extensive Support Needs (ESN) students teamed up with their general education peers, who served as buddies and supporters during the game. Together, they practiced the skills they have been developing in PE while encouraging one another every step of the way.

The gym was filled with energy, smiles, and plenty of high-fives as students worked together on the court. SMUSD Unified Sports reminds us that when we focus on inclusion, everyone has the opportunity to participate, grow, and shine.

At SMMS, we are proud to create spaces where every student belongs and is celebrated! 🏀

SMMS families always show up for our students!

So far we’ve raised $7,976, and we’re hoping to surpass $10,000 to support our students, athletics, clubs, and activities. Right now about 50% of students have participated, and every little bit helps.

Even a $5 donation makes a difference, and 100% goes right back to SMMS.
