NEW CSUSM Temecula transfer degree options that has an extended Fall 2024 application deadline of July 24, 2024. The CSUSM Temecula campus aims to serve students who want to save time and money with less commuting.
FALL 2024 – B.S. Software Engineering Application Deadline is July 24th
The B.S. Software Engineering (BSSE) program at CSUSM Temecula is designed to be:
• An in-person two-year transfer program,
• Students will attend classes no more than 2-3 days per week,
• Guaranteed seats in all required classes. (i.e. no crashing or waitlisting already full classes)
• A cohort format program where students stay in the same classes together until graduation,
• All classes taught by the same College of Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics (CSTEM) faculty from Cal State San Marcos main campus.

CSCI250 - Introduction to AI
Course Overview:
In this course, you will learn about the fundamentals of AI and become familiar with different branches of AI. You will explore the capabilities and applications of Generative AI and Large Language Models (LLMs) across different domains. You will learn and experiment with AI technologies, frameworks, APIs, and engineering practices associated with cutting-edge areas.

• Fundamentals of AI: Introduction to core AI concepts and different branches of AI.
• Generative AI and LLMs: Deep dive into Generative AI, exploring its capabilities and applications across various domains.

Through the theme of Musical Cryptography, we hope the event will help the participants to
• perceive computing as engaging, relatable, and appealing.
• appreciate the value of creativity in computing.
• recognize the existence of supportive communities for women in computing fields.
We’re setting the capacity for the event to 100. Registration will be open through April 8 or until the capacity is reached, whichever comes earlier. So far, we have received registration from 30 high school students and 24 college students.
