This week’s art therapy. The Tabby. 5 pound rock hand picked from my daughter’s back yard. Acrylic paints and a zillion strokes.

Took a Zoom class on the art of gradient blending. Fun!

Had to paint a portrait of my little dude!

Kristen Uhrig has the best tutorials! I followed her YouTube tutorial “Breakfast in Kawaii” and painted mine on a large wood plate I’ve saved for just the right project. Kristen also suggested using these paints which I invested in - usually I use inexpensive ones. Just adding a drop or two to my regular acrylics changed them completely. The colors became much more vibrant. Totally worth it. Dreaming of a trip to the islands now. ♥️

Zoom paint class tonight with Dane. Cherry Blossom tree. Still working on it. Loved the background technique.

Time to pack up my mandala ornaments! I sure love these. Easy to make. The wood ornaments come in a pack and are very inexpensive at Hobby Lobby.
