A proposed Department of Education rule could impact access to federal financial aid for many cosmetology, barbering, and massage therapy programs, which could affect future students seeking these educational pathways.

This conversation is bigger than beauty school. It is about access, opportunity, small businesses, workforce development, and the future of an industry that supports millions of professionals and communities across the country.

We encourage students, graduates, educators, salon owners, professionals, families, and supporters to stay informed and make their voices heard during the public comment period ending May 20.
