Established in 1966, Sandy Hill is a parent cooperative preschool which unites family participation and teacher expertise in a natural setting. We endeavor to provide all our children with a responsive, nurturing, and stimulating environment in which they can reach their full potential as happy, competent, and productive human beings.

In honor of Indigenous Peoples' Day, we're sharing the explorations of Sandy Hill's incredible Adventure Class. 🌿🐚 On this special day, we reflect on the rich cultural heritage of San Diego as our little adventurers uncover ancient middens on the trail, where shells left by Indigenous communities whisper tales of the past.
At Sandy Hill, we embrace the spirit of curiosity, understanding, and respect for the diverse cultures that enrich our world.

💡 It's the start of October, which means it's already time to start thinking about kindergarten for some of our students. 💔🥹 If your child will be starting kindergarten in Fall of 2024, many San Diego area schools begin taking applications in October.
