This week's Graduate Assistantship Spotlight: Stephanie Wiesehuegel!

"Being a GTA has opened my eyes to just how meaningful teaching is to me and has shaped my love for design pedagogy. Working closely with students—helping them think through ideas, experiment, and grow as designers—has been one of the most fulfilling parts of my graduate experience. Nothing makes me happier than seeing my students succeed and gain confidence in their work. This role has completely changed my perspective and my goals, making graduate school feel far more purposeful and rewarding. Through this experience, I’ve realized that teaching is where I feel most engaged and inspired, and it has solidified my goal of becoming a professor after I graduate."

I also had the opportunity to observe so many remarkable professors, which has helped shape me as a professional and in my teaching practice."
