The threat is not always inside the building.
Exterior Response to Active Shooter Events (ERASE) focuses on the critical skills needed when the fight is happening outside. This intensive, hands on course prepares law enforcement and allied responders to move, communicate, rescue, and make decisions in dynamic, high risk environments.
Students will work through perimeter management, exterior movement techniques, officer and civilian rescues, near and far ambush responses, casualty movement, medical care under fire, and coordinated team tactics under stress.
This is practical training designed for the realities of active shooter and mass casualty incidents where seconds matter and conditions change rapidly.
November 16 at Staccato Ranch in Florence, Texas.
Registration is $350 and enrollment is limited to 24 students.
Train for the problems you are most likely to face, not just the ones inside the structure.

ALERRT conducted an AAIR course with police and fire personnel at Fort Buchanan, Puerto Rico, last week. More than two dozen first responders participated in the two day class. The class was conducted by Lead Instructor Jeff Waters, Instructor Mark Cumberland, Regional Manager Larry Behnke, and Director of Training Joe Shirley.
AAIR is designed to improve integration between law enforcement, fire, tele communicators, and emergency medical services (EMS) during active attack and active shooter events. The course provides law enforcement officers with key medical skills based on Tactical Emergency Casualty Care (TECC) guidelines, which can be used at the point of injury (POI) to increase victim survivability.
The course also provides a model framework for law enforcement, fire, and EMS to integrate responses during active attack and active shooter events through the rescue task force concept. This training is designed to improve the safety and survivability of victims while increasing effectiveness, coordination, and resource integration between law enforcement, fire, tele communications, and EMS when responding to these incidents.
