Congratulations to our very own graduate student, Joel Garber!

This past sunday, he competed in the TXST Concerto Preliminaries in the woodwind division. Out of 8 musicians, only 2 advance to finals.

Our very own Joel has been selected to advance and compete in the Concerto Competition Finals! On November 1st, he will play his concerto piece, "II Concerto" by Oscar Navarro, while competing with finalists from other instrument divisions.

Our studio is very proud of Joel and the hard work he has dedicated into his piece. We wish him the best of luck in the finals!

CALLING ALL CLARINETISTS: This year marks the 9th edition of the Texas State Clarinet Fiesta, April 5-6 at Texas State University! This event offers lots of opportunities for clarinetists including masterclasses, instrument trials, and performing in the clarinet choir. This Friday come check out Jasmine Iafeta-Lelauti’s senior recital titled “When It Blooms” on November 15th in the PERF recital hall at 8pm.
Jasmine will be playing works by Weber, Reade, Williams, and Mancini!

Just a week away! Come check out senior Kate Elledge as she performs her recital program “Liebe meines Lebens” on October 28th at 6pm in the PERF.
Kate will be playing music by Brahms, Weber, Saint-Saens, and Rechia!

Last Friday our studio was visited by Donnie Tod from Buffet Crampon!
We had a lot of fun trying out high level Bb and A clarinets!

Last weekend we had the opportunity to work with A&M Kingsville professor, Andrea Vos-Rochefort!
She performed a wonderful recital and gave Kate, Mireya, and Jasmine a masterclass.
