The Project GLiST team is looking for ✨middle school students (grades 6-8)✨ in San Marcos, TX and surrounding areas to participate in our research interviews! Meet Lucinda! She is a Doctoral Research Assistant with Project GLiST and a Doctoral Teaching Assistant. When she’s not researching with Project GLiST, teaching, or working on her dissertation, she enjoys listening to audiobooks 🎧 and spending time in nature🌿, particularly in and around the water🌊.

Meet Dr. Hwa Young Lee! She is our Principal Investigator for Project GLiST and an Associate Professor at TXST. When she’s not teaching university students and researching on students’ mathematical thinking, Dr. Lee likes to float down the San Marcos River 🛶and to make soap🧼. Check out her soap creations!

Meet Brandi! She is a Doctoral Research Assistant for GLiST. She is constantly learning in classes and research, and she loves to fuel her brain with all things cheesy🧀- especially pizza 🍕 and queso🫕!

Meet Stephanie! She is a Doctoral Research Assistant and Social Media Coordinator for Project GLiST. When she’s not attending math classes and researching, she loves to travel ✈️, explore local coffee shops ☕️, and make art 👩🏻‍🎨.
