As our students and families continue arriving on campus, we want to remind staff, students, volunteers, and guests to take care of themselves throughout the day.

☀️ Take breaks from the sun whenever possible.

Kicking Off Emergency Management Month! 🚨

We're proud to begin Emergency Management Month by hosting the Staging Manager Training, presented by the Texas Division of Emergency Management (TDEM) and hosted by Texas State University Emergency Management.

This week, we welcomed participants from across our campus, local and regional partner agencies, and a dedicated group from El Paso who joined the training through virtual connection, to strengthen emergency response capabilities through collaboration and hands-on learning.

Training together builds stronger partnerships, improves coordination, and enhances our ability to serve and protect our communities when it matters most.

A sincere thank you to TDEM, all of our participants, and our emergency management partners for making this training a success. Here's to a month dedicated to preparedness, resilience, and collaboration!
