From Harry Potter to Paddington, London has had a starring role in some of the world’s favorite stories. This summer, make it part of your Cal Poly story. 🇬🇧

Live and learn in Kensington, London, a vibrant neighborhood filled with cafés, shops and restaurants, with convenient Tube access to the rest of the city.

Study culture, history, literature, architecture and global issues in the place where they unfold alongside Cal Poly professors Krista Kauffmann and Nikhil Deb.

Since 1984, Cal Poly’s flagship faculty-led study abroad program has helped Mustangs experience London beyond the classroom.

Takeover Tuesday is heading to Valladolid! 🇪🇸

Tomorrow, Cal Poly graduate student Meredith will take us along for a look at her study abroad experience with the Cal Poly Global Program in Valladolid, Spain.

While completing her bachelor’s in anthropology and geography, Meredith lived with a local family and immersed herself in the Spanish language and culture. Now pursuing her master’s in History, she is excited to help students find the study abroad program that is right for them.

Greetings from China! 🇨🇳

Cal Poly students recently traveled to Shanghai with University Studies Abroad Consortium (USAC), where they explored global innovation at the S-Tron Venture & Technology Conference, performed songs and dances at their host university’s welcome event and took part in a traditional tea ceremony in celebration of the Mid-Autumn Festival.

This holiday is a time to celebrate reunion, togetherness and gratitude, often shared with family, friends, a full moon and mooncakes. 🌕✨

Forget scrolling past Europe travel videos. What if you got to live there for a semester? 🇳🇱

Study in The Hague, Netherlands, where you can see Vermeer’s Girl with a Pearl Earring, walk canal-lined streets after class and spend weekends exploring Amsterdam, Rotterdam and the North Sea coast.

Known as the International City of Peace and Justice, The Hague is home to the Dutch Parliament, the International Court of Justice and people from more than 100 nationalities.

Through University Studies Abroad Consortium (USAC), students can choose from English-taught courses in business management, cultural and social studies, modern foreign languages, law and politics.

International Student Spotlight: Meet Feti! 🇩🇪

Feti, a Graphic Communication major at Hochschule München, joined California Polytechnic State University (Cal Poly) from Munich, Germany, as an exchange student during winter and spring 2026.

From discovering a more hands-on approach to learning to seeing how Cal Poly students prepare for their future careers, Feti gained a new perspective during his time as a Mustang.
