Little Ducklings Preschool & Childcare is fully licensed by the State of California as a Large Family Childcare Home (LIC #406213966) serving children ages 12 months - 6 years. At Little Ducklings, children experience care by a credentialed teacher and an assistant in a loving home environment which includes: music, literature, pre-writing, pre-reading and pre-math skills, outdoor play, science, a

rt, social skills and more, in a play-based, child-centered environment. The childcare room is warm and inviting with age appropriate toys which rotate based on our monthly themes. French doors open onto a fenced yard with lawn, a toddler climbing structure, swing set, play house, sandbox, brick patio, and numerous riding toys. As the teacher/licensee, I have a valid California elementary teaching credential, a Master’s Degree in Education, a Minor in Music, eleven years of classroom teaching experience in school districts here in San Luis Obispo County, and, most importantly, over 23 years of “Mom” experience. As is required of all family childcares, I am certified in CPR, First Aid, and Health & Safety. My assistants and I have all been fingerprinted and background checked, have tested negative for tuberculosis, and have current flu shots and COVID-19 vaccinations.
