SunWest was founded in 1987 as a family operation providing flight management services to local aircraft owners. It has become the largest flight school and charter operator on the Central Coast, playing an active role at San Luis Obispo, Santa Maria, Santa Ynez and Santa Barbara airports. The flight school boasts a fleet of 6 aircraft, and keeps 7 instructors on staff. Our fleet consists of a 152
