🐎💚💛 Student Send Off 2026 hosted by the Bay Area and Central Coast Chapters of the Cal Poly Alumni Association! What a successful event! Great turnout and excellent engagement from parents and students! 🐎💚💛

It was a great dialogue, exchange of ideas, networking, and community building. Many of us Alumni Volunteers were first generation college students who didn’t have the benefit of this type of send off….. but we get to write the next chapter and send off these students (and parents) with a head start, lots of tips, and connections to help ease their transition.

In the words of one student “I'm so lucky to be a part of the Cal Poly community, no other school welcomes us like you all do - I'm so lucky to be here.” —- purpose fulfilled! 💯💯💯

Mustangs Class of 2030, you got this! Future Alumni! Go Mustangs! 🐎💚💛

🐎💚💛🎓 Blessed and fortunate to be able to represent our Cal Poly Alumni Cal Poly Alumni Association Board of Directors and of course our Latinx Community at the 2026 Commencement Ceremonies, which is also the 125th anniversary of the founding of our school!
The very long day was more than worth it to see the joy and pride that the graduates and their families had as they celebrated this amazing milestone! 🐎💚💛🎓
More to come in a future post, but for now sending HUGE CONGRATULATIONS to the graduates and their families! 🐎💚💛🎓

🐎💚💛📚 Inaugural Voces De Cal Poly collaboration between Cal Poly Alumni Latinx Community and the Kennedy Library team! Sold out attendance! 🐎💚💛📚

More pictures and details to come, but we had a GREAT time moderating this panel and leading the discussion as we explored community, belonging, and inclusion; with the over arching theme of self-determination as we write or rewrite our own narrative!!! 🐎💚💛📚
