Mark your calendars for the Bailey College Career Fair next week!

On September 10–11, students will have the opportunity to meet industry professionals, improve their résumés, and practice their interview skills.

On Thursday, September 10, students can attend Career Fair Prep, where students can glean tips on updating résumés and preparing for interviews.

On Friday, September 11, students will have the opportunity to meet and connect with representatives from a variety of industry fields, including: consumer technology, healthcare, marine science, social services, nuclear energy, paints and coatings, K-12 education, environmental conservation, specialty chemistry and more!

This past Tuesday we celebrated the launch of Cal Poly’s 2+2 Liberal Studies Bachelor’s Pathway Program!

The evening was spent at Cuesta College’s Science Courtyard welcoming the first student cohort and listening to Cal Poly and Cuesta College leadership share their excitement about the opportunities this program has to offer.

The program is designed to support students balancing education, work, family and other responsibilities by offering evening Cal Poly courses on Cuesta campus and online. The Liberal Studies Bachelor’s Pathway Program at Cuesta College prepares students for careers in education.

Welcome to California Polytechnic State University (Cal Poly) new Liberal Studies students!

The launch of Cal Poly’s new pre-credential undergraduate teacher preparation program (Liberal Studies Bachelor’s Pathway Program) in partnership with Cuesta College took place Tuesday evening!

The program offers students the opportunity to take evening Cal Poly courses on the Cuesta campus and online, along with school-based field experience each term, to accommodate working students.

Emphasizing early-childhood and elementary education, the program develops educators who can meet the region’s growing demand for qualified teachers. Graduates earn a Bachelor of Science in Liberal Studies, providing a strong foundation for the Multiple Subject Teaching Credential!

Yesterday, we gave a warm welcome to our incoming Bailey College Students!

As part of the new student welcome orientation, students heard from Dean Wendt and a student panel he hosted with four Bailey College Student Ambassadors. The Ambassadors shared insights about what to expect, encouraged new students to join clubs and activities, and offered other helpful advice!

We’re looking forward to the start of another amazing year with our new Mustangs!
