A beautiful day spent with our Masonic Family of San Luis Obispo, hosted by and Santa Lucia OES Chapter! Thank you to all the members, families, and friends who joined our Annual Summer BBQ Picnic. Great food, wonderful fellowship, and lasting memories made for a perfect day in the park!

Brothers Chris Echard, Chris Scherle, and Christian Marano of were recently inducted as Honorary Members of Southern California DeMolay. The impressive ceremony, conducted by Active and Senior DeMolays in Pasadena, welcomed a total of 21 Masons and advisors into honorary membership.

Worshipful Master Robert Sachs presented the $1,250 grant to Most Worshipful Russ Charvonia to benefit the Masonic Family Civility Project. Proud to support this important initiative that strengthens families and communities through the timeless principles of Freemasonry.

Brother Mike Luth (L) proudly presented $1,250 community grant to the San Luis Obispo Vitalant Foundation. The grant will support public education and awareness about blood clots while also helping promote the many life-saving services Vitalant provides to our community.

Worshipful Master Robert Sachs recently presented King David’s Lodge’s donation to the California Masonic Foundation to Most Worshipful Grand Master Garrett Chan, reaffirming our lodge’s commitment to supporting the charitable work of Freemasonry throughout California.

Before last night’s stated meeting, our social hour and dinner featured another blanket-making session led by our ladies in support of First Lady JoMay’s Forget-Me-Not Project, benefiting Shriners Children’s Hospital.

We also enjoyed a presentation from Family Care Network, one of our recent grant recipients, highlighting the impact of our community partnerships and charitable giving.

Congratulations to Past Master Peter Champion on receiving the Golden Veteran’s Award from the Grand Lodge of ! For decades, Peter has exemplified Freemasonry through his leadership, service, mentorship, and friendship, inspiring generations of Masons.

The award was presented during a recent York Rite of San Luis Obispo event, where Peter is a Life Member.

The recently donated $1,250 to the South SLO County Womenade to support their toiletries drive. The donation helped provide essential hygiene products to families and youth in need, including those in the Families in Transition Program. We are grateful for the opportunity to support such meaningful work and proud to partner with organizations making a difference in our community.
