Out here, a bone can be priceless, a shell can spark a negotiation, and every trade is a lesson.
They’re practicing how to communicate, how to listen, when to stand their ground, and when to compromise.
They’re learning that value is subjective, that fairness matters, and that relationships are more important than “winning.” Navigating trust, problem-solving disagreements, and figuring out what something is worth.
