A judge concluded the children were victims of “parental alienation,” which continues to influence family courts despite being rejected by mainstream scientific groups, and authorized police to use “reasonable force” to remove them from their mother.

I am usually reserved and tactful with a lot of sarcasm in my humor. It’s my nature, my training, and my communication style. A smartass Sheepdog-Doodle who semi-quietly observes and defends those under my watch.

Not today. Today I am fired up. Two children, Maya and Sebastian, sent up the bat signal. Tina is about to pick a fight with a bunch of bullies and I’m all in for starting some s**t. I hate bullies… Battle on.

It's been one year since Tina's ex brother-in-law's conviction. While the wounds and the anger are still here, writing the chapter in Divorcing a Narcissist: One Mom's Battle about the criminal process has helped with the healing.

On a lighter note, a couple of months ago the person producing the audiobook called Tina and told her there was an issue. The narrator got to my chapter and realized it wouldn't sound right without a male voice. Oh, and they need it tomorrow...

A shot of courage, a few minutes researching how to use Garage Band to record narration, and away I went. Three hours later, I sent off a 35 minute MP3.

While it's a little unnerving, now that I've listened to the final production I think it works under the circumstances.

Tip: Adjust the speed. Personally, I slow down the main narrator to .9 and speed mine up to 1.1 to get it to flow well.

This is what me writing a chapter for Tina's book looked like. The RV parked at my favorite spot for a few days while I drank my tea and sorted through my thoughts.

When Tina wrote her first book, the story was far from over. Recently, she set out to bring it up to date. One of the main developments since first publish was the arrest, trial, and conviction of her ex-brother-in-law for molesting multiple children.

Realizing that this would be a difficult chapter for her to face, and that I was the one who attended every hearing for five years, we decided that I should take a shot at it.

6,000 pointed words later, it is done. It is moving. It is heart wrenching. It is infuriating. It is One Mom's Battle.

Look for the complete revision to be released in the next few months.
