Marina High School San Leandro, CA Closed In the early 1960's, the state pressured schools to unify into elementary and high school districts.

As a result, the HUHS District, which had educated thousands of high school students since 1892, became three unified districts in 1963: San Lorenzo, Castro Valley, and Hayward Unified School Districts respectively. The San Lorenzo Unified School District built Marina High School in 1964.
